Netwalking Artist Talk : Sarjeant

20 years ago, artist Simon Pope work was firmly rooted in ‘new media’, exploring the possibilities of the Web and computer network to make artwork. His more recent work has involved walking with people, talking with them to produce ‘landscapes’. In this talk, Pope tells the story of this journey across these differing types of art practice, drawing on examples of his and others’ work to reflect on the ideas that underpin this work.
