The Netwalking Tour, a series of master classes and workshops with Simon Pope, will take place April 2013. The ADA Network will host public workshops in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington that will draw upon Pope’s recent work that has taken the form of walking-as-art. The workshops will explore an expanded notion of dialogue and negotiation.

A distributed masterclass, anchored by Kahn’s keynote and participation in the Whanganui ADA Symposium, followed by speaking and performance events in Christchurch and Auckland and informal time meeting with local practitioners.
A 3-day event exploring the relationships between energy and information in media arts. A wide range of artists and researchers from Whanganui and New Zealand will presented current projects in art and sustainable energy, in conference sessions including Sustainable Media (Art), Energy Networks, and Social Energy.

Energetics and Informatics: the 7th ADA Symposium, was held in Whanganui, December 10-12, 2010. Invited keynotes were Douglas Kahn, David Haines and Joyce Hinterding. The symposium examined the relationship between energy and information in media arts and included a screening programme and two exhibitions.
